Srinagar to Leh Ladakh itinerary

Day 1: Kargil

On arrival at Srinagar Airport move to Kargil which is about 205 kilometers from Srinagar. Crossover the Zojila pass which is located 3900 meters above sea level. After driving for some time, we will reach Drass Village which is said to be the 2nd coldest place on earth after Siberia in Russia. In the evening, we will reach Kargil town upon reaching there, check-in at the hotel/deluxe camp.

Day 2: Kargil-Leh

After breakfast, our journey starts to Leh which is 230 kilometres from Kargil town. On the route, visit the ancient rock-cut statue of Maitreya Buddha at Mulbekh village. Later stop for a photo at lunar-like landscapes near Lamayuru Monastery.

On the way, photo stop at the Sangam of the Indus and Zanskar rivers. en route visit
Mulbek, Magnetic Hill, Gurdwara Pathar Sahib On arrival check into the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay at a hotel in Leh.

Day 3: Leh Local Sightseeing

After breakfast, we will go on a sightseeing tour of Leh, the capital town of Ladakh. we will visit today's attractions like Leh Palace, Hemis Monastery and Stok Palace, Museum. Shanti Stupa and Leh Market, Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 4 : Leh - Khardung-La Pass - Nubra Valley

After breakfast in the hotel. Drive towards Nubra Valley passing through the Khardung-La Pass (the highest motorable pass in the world - 18,380 ft). After Reaching Nubra Valley visit and explore the famous Diskit Monastery, Maitriya Buddha Statue, Hundar and Sand Dunes. Later you’ll check in at camp, and overnight stay in a camp.

Day 5 : Nubra Valley - Pangong Lake

After Breakfast, we will move to Pangong Lake.via Sheyok. Upon arrival at Pangong Lake visit 3 Idiots shooting point. Explore the lake and take group photos. Later drive to Spangmik village and check in to camp at the bank of Pangong Lake. Dinner and overnight stay in camp.

Day 6 : Pangong Lake - Leh

After breakfast Move back to Leh crossing the Chang-la Pass (alt: 17370 ft.). En route visit Shey Palace, Thiksey Monastery, Rancho School and Sindu Ghat. Stop at Leh market and do your last-minute shopping before leaving Leh. Buy presents for your friends and relatives. Later our driver will drop you at your hotel. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel in Leh.

Day 7: After Breakfast, our driver will transfer you to the Leh Airport where you’ll board your flight back to your home / onward destination.
